Capital, community, and civic leadership for the people building what comes next.

I help entrepreneurs find the right financing through a network of lenders, and I build the communities and policy that make it easier to start and grow a business.

About

Built on real lending experience.

I help entrepreneurs secure business and commercial real estate loans through a network of lending partners. My work as a loan officer at Impact Loan Fund and an underwriter at True Access Capital gives me a clear view of what lenders need and what makes a financing request stronger.

My community and civic work serve the same goal, in Philadelphia and wherever builders need a stronger path to capital. Through Amaury Abreu Builders Fund, which I founded, I support federal candidates who champion founders, creators, investors, operators, and small business owners. As board chair of SARCC, I help manage a $1M+ budget and housing for survivors of human trafficking.

My belief is simple: when a business owner gets a fair loan, a family builds wealth and a neighborhood gets stronger. That is the work.

Training and education: Commercial Credit Analyst certificate from the Corporate Finance Institute, the Interise executive MBA program, and a bachelor of science in digital communication and media from Millersville University. I work fully in English and Spanish.

“The right financing should help a business move, not leave the owner wondering what comes next.”

Practice

Find the right financing for the next move.

Real underwriting experience and a network of lending partners help me match the request to the right path.

Preparing your loan request
I organize your cash flow, collateral, and business story into a package lenders can evaluate quickly, especially when your business does not fit a template.
Seeing your file the way a lender does
My underwriting background helps me spot weak points early so we can address them before your request goes out.
Understanding your offers
I help you compare rates, payments, and terms across lenders so you can choose the offer that fits your cash flow. Final terms are always set by the lender.
Commercial real estate loans
I help owners and investors assemble the property details, appraisal information, and projections lenders expect to see.
Access to community lenders
I connect borrowers with community lenders and CDFIs built to serve businesses that traditional banks often pass over.
Matching you with the right lender
I work with a network of lending partners, so one no does not end your search for capital.

What I work on

Focus areas

01

Small business capital access

Connecting founders and small business owners with fair financing, because good ideas should not fail for lack of a lender who understands them.

02

Access for overlooked founders

Bilingual in English and Spanish, I work with founders and business owners who are too often overlooked by traditional lenders, opening up resources, language access, and a seat at the table.

03

Growth and innovation policy

Policies that help new companies start, stay, and grow, in Philadelphia and beyond.

04

Civic engagement and community leadership

Bringing people together and listening, so the people most affected by decisions help make them.

Civic Leadership

Service across civic, economic, and community institutions.

Practical roles across lending, nonprofit governance, and the startup community.

  1. Founder, Amaury Abreu Builders Fund

Founder of a federal independent expenditure only political committee that supports federal candidates who champion founders, investors, operators, creators, and small business owners.

  2. Board Chair, SARCC

Board chair of the Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center, overseeing a $1M+ annual budget. Under my leadership the board approved buying two properties that house survivors of human trafficking.

  3. Chief Financial Officer, Founders Alley

Cofounder and part time CFO of a startup and investor community with chapters in Philadelphia and San Diego, built to open business networks to people too often left out.

  4. Loan Officer, Impact Loan Fund and Underwriter, True Access Capital

I review and approve small business loans at two community lenders. This is the ground level work behind my advocacy: I see every day where the lending system works and where it leaves people out.

  5. Business and Commercial Real Estate Loan Broker

I place small business and commercial real estate loans through a network of lenders. When one lender is not the right fit, your business still gets a path to capital.
